![]() The blade's charge decays over time when not hitting enemies. Hitting enemies with the blades charges them up, which increases their size, damage and hit frequency, going from 122 damage per hit to 160 damage per hit. When this attunement is selected, the sword will be held out in front of the player, with 4 extra spinning blades floating around the sword itself. The Biome Blade can obtain 8 different attunements, listed below:Īrid Grandeur is an attunement that can obtained by channeling the sword in the Desert or in The Underworld. Using the right-click function without standing still or without holding the button down will swap between the primary and secondary attunements. The sword has the ability to store an extra attunement in a secondary slot, which it automatically fills with the sword's previous primary attunement when it gets replaced by another one. Amongst its attunements are upgraded versions of the Broken Biome Blade's own ones, and three new ones for the Hardmode biomes. However if the player stands still on flat ground while holding right-click for 2 seconds, they will strike the sword into the ground, attuning it to the surrounding biome, which will let them perform unique attacks. By default it does not fire any projectile nor does it have any special effects. The Biome Blade is a craftable Hardmode broadsword that autoswings and is an upgraded version of the Broken Biome Blade. Using RMB otherwise switches between the current attunement and an extra stored one Hold down RMB while standing still on flat ground to attune the weapon to the powers of the surrounding biome Then came the MA weapon changes and normal farm is good enough.Repairing the blade seems to have improved its attuning capacities ![]() Had that exact scenario happen, and until that point a flawless run. In fact, I have concluded that the best way to survive this round is to nuke the behemoth down before it can scream. And it happens a lot more often than you'd think. Technically smaller, but your hitbox will touch it. I think the mushroom AoE is as big as the mender bubble, no? It might be smaller? That sounds maddening, even though it wouldn't happen every time. In that case there's nothing you can do, you WILL die from the mushroom poison or the scream. ![]() If I get 1 death per run, it's more likely to be on Frozen Blood or from the Dragonknight Standard -> chain combo in the lava stageĪ mushroom can grow inside your mender bubble or the menders can teleport onto one. ![]() Then I learned from watching a video of someone running vMA to fight NEAR the cleansing pools so that you can have little bath in case you step on a mushroom. It was certainly difficult the first time around, about the same as Rink of Frozen Blood was, but not as hard as the final stage boss fight was. I have a strategy of running towards them to "pop" them early and fighting in the same clear space the whole fight. I've never understood why people say this? I've always found it really doable to avoid the mushrooms or to cleanse.
